Good results again for the 9 years old Emilion-son VDL Emmerton. With his rider Jur Vrieling he placed 8th in the Grand Prix of Maastricht.

Another VDL stallion who competed in Maastricht was VDL AL Cantino (Ahorn x Landgraf), ridden by Dennis van Tilburg. Al Cantino placed 8th in the final of the 1.45 m class. With VDL Southwind (Baloubet du Rouet x Ahorn), Dennis van Tilburg placed 10th in a 1.40 m class. This class was won by the Emilion-mare Miss Montana, ridden by Emile Tacken and the Emilion-son Nikon's Tomboy, ridden by Roosje Brouwer, placed 3rd in this class. The 7th place in this class was for Pomme-Lady (by Jus de Pomme), ridden by Mark Jespers.

Robert Smith placed 3rd with the Ahorn-son Ronaldo in the 1.50 m class. The Landlord-son Lord II Z, ridden by Geir Gulliksen, placed 8th in a 1.40 m class. The Corland-son Pablo V placed 7th in a 1.45m class.
