Jus de Pomme-mare Marlou wins Grand Prix of Charlotte (USA)

Daughter of the Olympic Champion VDL Jus de Pomme, Marlou has won the Grand Pix of Charlotte in the USA. Marlou and her rider Kim Frey were the only combination who made 3 clear rounds and who were clear in the jump-off.  Kim Frey about Marlou after winning the Grand Prix:  �This was my warm up for the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas so the most important thing for me was to be sure that I was riding smoothly,�  admitted Frey. �I have a wonderful horse, she always goes well. So, it�s really all about me doing my part. She never fails me when I don�t make a mistake.� (source: www.horseweb.de). Marlou was also placed in the qualifier of the Grand Prix: in the first round she became 6th. Marlou is bred by fam. Rooyakkers from Prinsenbeek.

Also other horses related to the VDL Stud were succesful at Charlotte:
- The Indoctro-son Youp, ridden by Leslie Howard , was 2nd in a Top Score competition.
- AK Kanselier, ridden by Ellen Whitaker won a qualification class of the Grand Prix and was one time 10th. AK Kanselier is raised by the VDL Stud and sold as a young horse. AK Canselier comes out of the same lines as VDL Pacific and VDL Radisson.
