The approved stallion VDL Orame (Indoctro x Ramiro), ridden by Jur Vrieling, has won an 1.35 m class on Saturday at the Expo on Horse in Hengelo. The Indorado-mare Nikita, ridden by Michael Korompis, was 8th in this class.

Offspring by VDL Corland were very succesfull in the 1.30 m/1.35 m class for young horses. On Friday the mare HBC Dancing Queen , ridden by Julia Kayser, was 3rd and the mare Pracht, ridden by Robert Vos, was 8th. The Indorado-gelding Raimond W, ridden by Willem Greve,  was 2nd in this class. On Saturday, the 2nd round of this competition for young horses, offspring by VDL Corland were place 2nd, 3rd and 5th. Pracht became 2nd, VDL Rocksina and rider Angelique Hoorn were 3rd and the approved stallion Broere VDL Pacific was 5th with rider Wout Jan van der Schans. In the final on Sunday HBC Dancing Queen was 3rd and Pracht became 5th.  Pracht is bred and owned by the fam. van Straaten from Den Ham.

The Indorado-mare VDL Oranta, who won the Grand Prix of Hengelo in 2003, was this year again succesfull in Hengelo. On Friday she was with rider Angelique Hoorn 3rd in a 1.50 m class. The Indoctro-son Nassau, ridden by Jeroen Dubbeldam, was 2nd and Off the Road (by Kalusha), ridden by Pieter Martijn de Bruin, was 4th in this class. On Sunday VDL Oranta competed in the Grand Prix of Hengelo and she made it to the jump-off with. In the jump-off she had one down, this was good enough for the 5th place. Nassau was 2nd again and Off the Road was 9th in this Grand Prix.

Other good results by offspring of VDL-stallions in Hengelo were:
Just an Illusion (by Goodtimes), ridden by Franklin Posmus, was 6th in a 1.40 m class on Thursday;
Odile (by Indoctro), ridden by Edwin Smits, was 7th in a 1.40 m class on Saturday;
Payback (by Indoctro), ridden by Carolien Lankester, was 7th in a 1.35 m class on Sunday and
One Way (by Indorado), ridden by Michiel Brusse, was 4th in a 1.35 m class on Sunday.
