ROME - For Treasure VDL is now also approved by the Italian studbook Unire (Unione Nazionale Incremento Razze Equine).
Although For Treasure VDL earned his breeding license earlier in Vechta, he has Dutch roots. He is bred out of the mare Carthana Z, who descends from the KWPN mare Lamira. Carthana Z already produced the successful 1.50m showjumper Engelien ridden by Dave Maarse and nowadays Germany’s Tobias Thoenes. For Treasure VDL also descends from the damline of the Grand Prix showjumper Anemone’s Vicky of Karim El Zoghby and Mark Bluman and of the 1.60m-classified Onimo.
The very promising For Treasure VDL seems to be an asset for breeding with his complete pedigree, modern stallion appearance and unlimited scope.
