A striking number of offspring of VDL stallions started in the Nations Cup of the 5 * competition of St. Gallen in Switzerland last weekend. The Swiss won at home. The Baltic-son Leone Jei and Martin Fuchs made an important contribution to the victory with a double clear round. Fliere Fluiter (Zirocco Blue x Animo) and Jack Ansems won the Silver medal with the Dutch team.
Two more offspring of Zirocco Blue competed in the Nations Cup:
Elysium (Zirocco Blue x Coronado 3) and Hans Dieter-Dreher placed 4th with team Germany.
Androide 3 K (by Zirocco Blue), ridden by Felipe Amaral and VDL Edgar M (Arezzo x Marlon Zanotelli), ridden by Marlon Zanotelli, placed 6th with the Brazilian Team.
Team Norway finished in 7th place, in this team was a Missy, a descendant of Emilion ridden by Cecilie Hatteland.
