SAMORIN – Jur Vrieling secured two fine third-place finishes with VDL stallions at the international show in Samorin last weekend. Grand Slam (by Cardento) finished third in the 1.50m Gold Tour, whilst the young Comvictro (by Comthago) also took third place in the Middle Tour final.
Grand Slam once again demonstrated his qualities at international level on Friday. In the 1.50m Gold Tour of the CSI3*-W, the son of Cardento rode clear under Jur Vrieling. With a clear round in 72.53 seconds, the pair secured a fine third place. Grand Slam was bred by Frans Kenis from Brecht.
Comvictro, a son of Comthago, also claimed a prize in Samorin. In the 1.30m Middle Tour Final of the CSI1*, he remained clear under Jur Vrieling. With a time of 70.35 seconds, they finished third. Comvictro was bred by C.C. Meegdes from Hoogerheide.
