WELLINGTON - the ten-year-old Orafina (For Fashion x Canturo), bred by the VDL Stud and Y. Walda from Wommels, has won the CSI3* Grand-Prix over 1.60m of Wellington (USA) under rider Kent Farrington (USA).
Previously, the very talented Orafina also won the Grand Prix of Palm Beach. Last March, the mare placed first and second in the CSI5* 1.55m Grand Prix in Wellington, taking home a large amount of prize money.
Fifth in the CSI3* Grand Prix over 1.60m in Wellington were Jet Blue (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro) and rider Carly Anthony (USA). Jet Blue was bred by the Duursma family (NED).
Icarus (Douglas x Sioux de Baugy) and Francisco Goyoaga Mollet (ESP) finished seventh. Breeder of Icarus is Vandeburie Luc, Moen (BEL).
