COAPEXPAN - Hortensia van de Leeuwerk (Corland x Argentinus) has won the CSI3* competition over 1.50m in Coapexpan (MEX) under rider Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane. In the Grand Prix over 1.55-1.60m, a nice fifth place was achieved.

Hortensia van de Leeuwerk was sold to Mexico via the VDL Stud.

Hortensia van de Leeuwerk and Dufrane competed in Tokyo for the Mexico team during the 2021 Olympics. Earlier this year, the fourteen-year-old mare and her rider won the Grand Prix over 1.60m in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2020, the talented combination also won the CSI4* Grand Prix of Balvanera (Mex). Hortensia van de Leeuwerk has always been very successful, in December 2019 she won the 1.55m Grand Prix of the Querétaro National Jumping Championship and in October 2019 the Grand Prix in Coapexpan. The mare also claimed victory with the Mexican team at the Nations Cup in Wellington earlier in 2019.
