Our top stallion Etoulon (by Toulon), bred by Piet Sleutels, is the new leader of the HorseTelex A-, B- and C-ranking.
As a 3-year-old, Etoulon was Reserve Champion at the KWPN Stallion Inspection and passed his performance test with an outstanding score of 88.5 points. He later competed internationally at 1.50m level, where his quick reflexes and exceptional technique made him one of the most talented horses in the ring. Unfortunately, his sport career ended prematurely due to injury.
In breeding, however, Etoulon continues to make history. Last year he was awarded the KWPN Preferent status in recognition of his exceptional breeding achievements. He has already produced five national foal champions and three national champions among 3-year-old showjumping mares. An impressive 85% of his KWPN-presented mares earned a predicate.
His offspring are excelling at the highest level of sport:
* 11 offspring competing at 1.60m level
* 35 at 1.50–1.55m level
* 74 at 1.40–1.45m level
Several progeny are already successful at 1.60m, including Ebanking, Jordan Molga M, Opaline de W&S, Kailon and Lexington.
“He has never disappointed us for a single day — from the very beginning he has been a super stallion,” said Wiebe-Yde van de Lageweg in a interview at
