At the International Horse Show of Brussel there were good results by the Indorado-mares Eurocommerce Lanapoule and Eurocommerce Milano, both ridden by Gerco Schroder. Eurocommerce Milano (Indorado x Beaujolais) won a 1.50 m class.The Corland-mare Seacoast Silvana placed 6th in this class. Eurocommerce Lanapoule (Indorado x Jasper) placed 2nd in a 1.50m class and 8th in a 1.45m class against the clock. The Jus de Pomme-son V de Pomme placed 2nd in a 1.45m class with Jenni Martin McAllister.

At the International Horse Show of Athens there were two horses with VDL bloodlines in the winning team of the Nations Cup. The team of Greece was winning the Nations cup, in this team was the Silvio II-son Siljona B, ridden by Georgy Kermendy and the Indorado-son R.Tyson, ridden by Avgerinos Linardos. The Edminton-mare Equita was a member of the Bulgarian Team, who  placed third. Equita is ridden by Samantha McIntosh and placed also 3rd in the Grand Prix of Athens. Equita and the Indorado-son Radetzky, ridden by Dmitriy Berestov, were the only two horses with a double clear round in the  Nations Cup.

At the International Show of Lamprechtshausen was a victory for the Ahorn-son Koala du Prelet in a 1.40 m class against the clock. Koala du Prelet was ridden by Gerfried Puck. Placed 3rd in this class was the Emilion-mare Ukinda, ridden by Hugo Simon, and placed 8th was Twister S (Indorado x Silvio I), ridden by Angelie von Essen. Twister S was also placed 6th in a 1.45 m class and 6th in another 1.40m class against teh clock.
