The Holsteiner stallion Carolus II (Capitol I x Roman) will be available at the VDL Stud this breeding season. Carolus II has jumped succesful at international level with rider Thomas Voss and owner Schuyler Riley. The 18 years old grey stallion won the Grand Prix of Rostock and Gijon, the American Goldcup and was also winner of the Sires of the World. He became 2nd in Leeuwarden, 3rd in Oslo, 4th in Dublin, 5th in Oslo, 5th in Valkenswaard, etc.

Carolus II is a brother of Carolus I and they come out of the damline 2666. Other famous stallions and sporthorses out of this damline are: Albrant, Anilin, Risiko, Finess, Joy, Cantaro, Calero etc.
