The stallions of the VDL Stud were again succesfull at the KWPN Stallioncompetition. In the 2nd round of this competition Tenerife VDL (Raphael x Ahorn) was 4th in the class of the 4-years old jumphorses. Tenerife VDL is ridden by Jur Vrieling.
In the class of the 5-years old jumphorses  4 VDL stallions made it to the jump-off, these were the stallions VDL Sydney (Goodtimes x Alasca),  Sarantos (Emilion x Larome), VDL Silverstone (Champion du Lys x Carthago) and VDL Empire (Emilion x Lord Calando).
VDL Sydney, ridden by Marcel de Boer, was the first starter in the jump-off. VDL Sydney had a clear round with a time which resulted in the 3rd place. Sarantos, ridden by Jur Vrieling, was also clear in the jump-off and made a time for the 4th place. VDL Silverstone, ridden by Jur Vrieling, was the fastest horse of the jump-off but had one down. Also VDL Empire was very fast in the jump-off, but he made 2 faults.
