In sport, Bordeaux has received high marks at the Grand Prix level and continues to develop. He is also proving to be a true sire, both in Dutch and German breeding. With the KWPN, he has already produced three approved stallions in only his first three seasons of breeding. In Germany, he has sired 12 approved stallions. His son Buckingham won the 70-day stallion test in Adelheidsdorf. Bordeaux offspring make an impression everywhere they are seen – mare inspections, VSN Trophy, Pavo Cup, IBOP and performance tests.
