Dam of Wittinger, the ‘Keur and Preferent’ mare Irusa, who scored very well at her mare test, has a fantastic canter and scored an 8 for jumping. Two full sisters of Wittinger also showed their great canter and jumping ability in the IBOP test. The full sister of Wittinger’s mother produced the Grand Prix jumper Kimber.
Grandmother is the ‘Keur Preferent’ mare Carusa, she is a full sister to the Grand Prix horse Grand Star, who is an approved stallion in the USA.
Dam of this whole breeding family is the Sineada daughter Sarusa, who produced five international jumpers.
In sport Wittinger performs very well under Jur Vrieling at international shows. They won a 1.45m class in Leszno, took 3rd at 1.45m in Stuttgart, 3rd at 1.40m in De Steeg, 3rd at 1.40m in Leszno, 4th and 5th in 1.45m in Wiener Neustadt, 5th in 1.45m in De Steeg, 5th in 1.40m in Stuttgart, 6th in1.45m in Geesteren, 6th in1.45m in Stuttgart, 8th in1.45m in Drammen etc. He was Champion of the Stallion Competition in 1.30/1.35m and placed 7th at the National Championship for 7 year olds. They were first in Eindhoven, 2nd in Bourg and Bresse, 3rd in Lons le Saunier. In Wiener Neustad Wittinger placed 6th in the finals of the Platina Tour, a 1.45m class. He strikes everyone with his powerful canter, great scope and his good technique of jumping. Expected Breeding Value: 156.
