Falsterbo is an exclusively bred stallion.
Sire Flipper d’Elle is a fine example of French sport and breeding has
been very successful in Grand Prix, Nation Cups, European Championships in San Patrigano, and the World Championships in Aachen.
Grandsire Emilion won the World Cup qualifier of Dublin and is very successful as a sire with offspring like Seldana, Emmerton, Tomboy, Glasgow etc.
Maternal grandsire Nimmerdor was one of the first stallions that jumped successfully at Grand Prix and World Cups, and like the maternal great grand sire, Holstein great, Ladykiller xx, is one of the famous stallions that will stay important for years in breeding. In combination, Nimmerdor and Ladykiller xx have sired top progenitors such as Ahorn, Heartbreaker, Landgraf and Lord.
The dam line also brings quality. Falsterbo’s mother foaled the 1.50 jumper Ocinthe and Annacinthe VDL, the latter receiving 80.5 points for her IBOP.
Granddam ‘Sport Preferent’ Byazinthe was a 1.35 jumper and is the grand dam of Bordeaux VDL, who competed at 1.50m with Cameron Hanley and Votre Dame VDL, who competes at 1.50m with Juan Andrez Rodriguez.
Great grand dam is the famous VDL foundation mare ‘Keur, Preferent and Prestatie’ mare, Hyazinthe, mother of the ‘Keur’ stallion Ahorn, who competed at Grand Prix, including the Nations Cup. Hyazinthe produced several other International show jumpers and two approved stallions.
Falsterbo has a beautiful type and shows lots of blood. He has a very good character, is very careful and has a lot of scope for jumping. At this moment he is competing in 1.10m classes.
The first foals of Falsterbo are expected in 2012.
Falsterbo meets the KWPN criteria for PROK and laryngeal examination.
