Bentley VDL is a son of the 'keur' stallion Larix. In the maternal line the genes of Renovo and Commandant are strongly present. In the 4th generationwe find the 'commandant' mare Gonnie who is also mother to the dressage stallion Cabochon. From the first to the fourth generarion you can find good movement in the pedigree of Bentley VDL. The much too early deceased stallion Milano is from the same motherline as Bentley VDL. Milano was, in his short life, very important for the harness horse breeding. Given its pedigree Bentley VDL is a welcome addition to the breeding of harness and dressage horses.

Bentley VDL placed second in the final of the FSP. Bentley VDL placed thirth in the Silfit Masterclass (International competition for harness horses) at Jumping Amsterdam 2010 and won convincingly at Jumping Indoor Zuidlaren 2010. At shows in Munchen, Hamburg and Paderborn,  Bently was one of the favourites.

Bentley's first offspring look very promising. It looks like Bentley passes his size, front, strong movements and character on to his offspring.
