Carrera is very interestingly bred out of a combination of two Olympic Stallions, Cardento and Baloubet du Rouet.
Sire Cardento won three silver medals in the Olympic Games, European Championship and World Championships with Peter Eriksson. Cardento’s offspring perform on the highest level: Kiara la Silla with R. Goran Bengtsson, Caramell KS with S. Johansson, Glory Days with D. Zetterman, Cazino with R. Pessoa, Carisma with E. Martinsen, etc.
Grand sire Baloubet du Rouet with Rodrigo Pessoa was Olympic Champion and three-time winner of the World Cup finals. He also won several Grand Prix and World Cup Qualifiers and is the sire of Bubalu VDL, VDL Southwind and Chaman.
Third in the descending stallion lineage is Nurzeus, the stallion who sired so many good international Show Jumpers such as Midnight Madness, Zippo, Ennio, etc.
The dam of Carrera is an international jumper at 1.45m level and is the half sister of the famous international jumping stallion Tinka’s Boy, who won several Grand Prix and World Cups with rider Markus Fuchs. Tinka’s Boy is father of Top jumpers like Tinka’s Serenade who won the finals of the Rolex Top 10 in Paris and placed 11th at the World Championships in Kentucky. Carrera shows a lot of quality, jumps with scope, has a good character and is very careful. Carrera jumps at 1.20m level.
