Brugal is an imposing son of the ‘Keur’ stallion Indorado. Indorado has had an impressive jumping career at international level and is sire of a lot good jumpers like Eurocommerce Milano, VDL Oranta, Heechhiem’s Springtime, etc. Then we have Guidam, who we know as the sire of Authentic, Armani and Ninja la Silla. Descending are sires Notaris, Marco Polo and Koridon xx. Brugal comes from a very good damline. Mother Solaris is ‘Keur’ and was one of the best at her EPTM test. She got a 9 for jumping technique, take-off and her ability for jumping. The sister of Solaris in combination with Indorado produced the approved stallion Intermezzo and the international jumper Olona with Cassio Rivetti, competitor at the World Championships.
Grand dam Dolaris D is mother of the national jumper Nolaris and from the 1.30 level jumpers Hurricane and Kuilenrode. She is also grand dam of the international jumpers Platini, Pouwer and Within Temptation. Also Dutch Champion of the 4 year old jumpers, Boemmerang, descends from this family. At the beginning of this damline is the mare Sirikit, who jumped herself on international level.
Brugal is a striking stallion at competitions, his canter has a lot of power and he impresses with his jumping scope and technique. During the World Championship in Lanaken, Brugal jumped well placing with a double clear round for the finals where he also was clear.
Brugal meets the PROK criteria for the KWPN.
