Arezzo VDL his sire line is unique with five generations of Grand Prix stallions in a row and also that each of those stallions have produced Grand Prix horses. Chin Chin, Heartbreaker, Renville, Jasper and Akteur have done this all.
But also the mare line guarantees sport horses, as it has produces lots of good sport horses already, for example, Dragonfly ridden by Nicole Shahinian-Simpson and Nacorde who won the Derby of Hamburg tree times with his rider Andre Thieme. Both are brothers to Arezzo’s mother the ‘Star’ mare Sarjolijn. Granddam Farjolijn is a ‘Prestatie’ mare and great granddam Parjolijn is the mother to the Grand Prix horse Easy Boy.
Arezzo VDL was one of the two 3 year old Champions of the Spring stallion testing in Holland. In the report of the testing he scored a 9 for his reflexes, scope and for his work attitude and potential as a jumper. His first sport results are promising. Under saddle, Arezzo is notable because of his good scope, great jumping technique and quick jumping reflexes. With rider Dennis van Tilburg, Arezzo had very good results becoming reserve Champion of the stallion competition 1.10m and 1.20m levels. At the Dutch Championship for 5-year olds Arezzo won the finals and placed 5th in the final rankings. With rider Jessica Kuerten Arezzo was outstanding at the CSI Arezzo in Italy. Arezzo jumped clear five times and placed in classes for 6-year old jumping horses. Arezzo placed 3rd in the stallion competition in Hengelo.
The first foals of Arezzo are nice and he received a good foal report. His foals are well developed and the canter is light-footed with good scope and self-carriage. Daughter Go-Melody VMH was Champion at the CK Overijssel and placed 5th at the National Foals Championship. Glaucus V.G. placed 4th at the CK Groningen and at the Z-Festival, of the Zangersheide Studbook, All Inclusive DS Z placed 6th in the class for colts.
At the first selection of the stallion approval three stallions of Arezzo’s first offspring have passed and are proceeding to the second selection. They were striking jumpers at the inspections.
