The Orame-mare Virgina placed 2nd at the World Championship of the 5 years old jumpers at Lanaken in Belgium.  Virgina (Orame x Dutchboy) was ridden by Mareille Schroder en is bred by mr. J. Rolleman from Den Ham. Another daughter of Orame placed high in this final. Viva la Vie (Orame x Heartbraker) placed 12th in the final of the 5 years oll jumpers, she was ridden by Jessica Dozeman. Placed 13th was the Matterhorn-son Veldheer. Veldheer was ridden by Hans de Vries and is bred by mr. Wentink from Oenkerk.

VDL Emmerton was competing in the Sires of the World in Lanaken with his rider Jur Vrieling. The son of Emilion did very well and won the 1.40 m class on Friday. On Saturday he unfortunately had one fault but he jumped very well again. Also Sarantos (by Emilion) and Gert jan Bruggink jumped very well in the Sires of the World but were not placed.
